Kylie USA tour - bryanb

While we here at Cream Team headquarters are positive that nothing this summer will match the epic-ness that will be our 1st Anniversary party, we cannot sit idle while a true pop icon announces a rare jaunt over to our side of the pond. There are precious few contemporary performers who can keep our interest for more than an album or two, let alone cultivate a remarkable body of work (pun intended) while unabashedly putting her mark on almost every major pop-music trend of the last decade and beyond.

Some may call her a puppet, but to us she is a true muse. And we doubt most alive would argue that Kylie Minogue doesn’t put on one hell of a show. If you are lucky enough to still have a job and can afford tickets to one of these shows, we recommend you get yours quickly.

Tour Dates:

30/09 Fox Theatre - Oakland, San Francisco Bay Area
03/10 The Pearl ‘Palms Resort & Casino’ - Las Vegas, NV
04/10 Hollywood Bowl - Los Angeles, CA
07/10 The Congress Theater - Chicago, IL
09/10 Air Canada Centre - Toronto, ON
11/10 Hammerstein Ballroom - NYC, NY

Here’s some of our visual favorites and a couple of harder-to-find audio treats:

Kylie Minogue - Love is the Drug (Roxy Music cover) (220 kbps)

Shes way too Madonna for North America, the stuff she performs has been walked by Madonna for years…..electro-pop, Geisha, Religious imagery etc. Madonna does it with passion and soul, Kylie to stay current. Madonna is and always has been Kylies muse, the similarities in their work is embarrassing and i had hoped Ms Minogue would have dropped her Madonna fanatisism with her Girly Show….Sorry, Show Girl Tour. Give me the real deal anyday, im not sure North america will swallow her regurgitated Madonna-thon but good look to her.
