Well here’s something to start your weekend off right. The Slips have released an unofficial remix of “Sexual Gold”, an abandoned song from Kylie Minogue’s X album recording sessions. While I was never completely impressed with the slew of remixes to come from out that fantastic album (save for Sebastian Leger’s time travelling “In Your Arms” redo) The Slips have managed to marry the raw demo elements with a melodic, sultry grind. I eagerly await for some industrious DJ to throw this on and watch the bodies magnetically cling to each other.
