I ended a very emotional relationship earlier this year and have just recently started dating a new guy. He’s wonderful—handsome, sweet and kind, with a quiet bashfulness to him that I can’t help but find adorable. New love always has a tendency to remind me of what is really important in any relationship, and what my hopes are when I begin, yet again, with someone new. Ultimately, that I what I put into it is what I get back in return.
Revolver is a new band making waves in the internet-o-sphere. They are French, but sing in English, they are contemporary, but sound like chamber-pop from the early sixties. Whenever, wherever they may be from I am gravitated to the crisp, clean minimal sound. And Back To You might just be the perfect thematic sequel to El Perro Del Mar’s Give To Get —another sweeping song that puts everything into perspective for me.
So far, so good…
