Sirens, programmed fanfare, synths, syncopated guitar plucks and then, just like honey indeed, Goapele’s voice covers the sonics with soft coos and sighs. Produced by Bedrock, I’m most fascinated with how surprisingly warm the track comes across despite its austere production. This is definitely whetting my appetite for her upcoming album.
