Lollapalooza 2009 in Recaps - V

Apologies for my several day hiatus. I joined my editors from Chicagoist in braving and covering Lollapalooza this past weekend. Friday was rain-drenched and miserable, with nature frowning on us in reverse with two days of sweltering heat on Saturday and Sunday. I saw some acts that greatly impressed me, and others that left me questioning the taste level of the public at large. I’m beyond exhausted and spending a few days recuperating and playing catch up.

Having written so much for another site the past few days, I’ve struggled with how to uniquely relay my Lollapalooza opinions to CreamTeam’s audience. In the coming days I will share with you a longer review on Gang Gang Dance’s performance as well as some more personal, bigger picture thoughts inspired by the experience of the weekend as a whole.
