Continuing the late decade trend of Haze Wave acts to ooze through our speakers comes Tickley Feather, a one woman project from Annie Sachs, a Philly resident who taps into her rural Virginia roots.A four track enthusiast, the songs off her debut album Hors D’oeuvres are filled with reverberating vocals, oscillating echoes, buzzing electronics and minimal song constructions. The results call to mind a collection of modern cult hymns that’s right at home with recent releases by Washed Out, Neon Indian and The xx.

I really love her new album! Trashy Boys in particular has been getting lots of repeat plays on my stereo recently.
