All Alone, I Drink From This. - danosaur

TFPP (or, Total Fucking Pizza Party) are a great new act hailing from the LA-area. They recently released an album for free download titled Phil Spectator and it’s a great romp through the mind of two talented art-musicians. The sound ranges from weird, glitched-out dance, to droning, downtempo art-hop. Phil Spectator is fairly experimental, and while I’m really into the sound, I realize it may be hard for others to enjoy. That being said, within Phil Spectator lies one of my favorite tracks of the past few months, Vroom Go The Cow Mew (Bumruckass), a chilled-out, downtempo serenade. Bass and drum rule much of the instrumental part of the song, and the vocal stylings are serene, sentimental and hard to ignore. Vroom also incorporates a beautiful flute melody that feels completely at home and necessary.

Check out Vroom, and if you’re into having the full Total Fucking Pizza Party experience, you can preview, or download, Phil Spectator here.
