Who doesn’t love a musical ode to their city? Double it up as an ode to fine ladies and you’ve got the next sure-to-be-hyped club jam. If you live here, then you’ve surely observed the madness surrounding BBU’s Chi Don’t Dance firsthand. We love our Windy City, and we can’t get enough of Chicago-centric tracks. The next in line comes to you courtesy of our very own Jams Dean. I don’t want to spoil this with analysis. It’s just a straight up, unpretentious jam that every guy in Chicago is sure to identify with and every girl will find a descriptor that has her nodding, “yeah, that’s me”.

Jams Dean is currently hard at work on his combination mixtape and zine titled The Criterion Collection. It will be out this December, but I got a sneak peek last week at a few snippets of the material. He raps over some unexpected beats that are far from traditional hip-hop mixtape fodder. I think a lot of you indie fans are going to enjoy it.

He’ll choose his favorite for inclusion on the upcoming mixtape and we’ll also feature the winner’s track here on CreamTeam. You don’t need to be from Chicago to give it a whirl, but you do need to love Chicago girls.
