Maybe it’s just the lingering winter influencing our recent taste for slow tempoed tunes, but fear not, we haven’t forgotten how to party in the club to a hard beat. Brooklyn’s Cobra Krames was one of the earliest supporters of this site so of course I jumped at the chance to host the official first posting of his new remix of Ludacris‘ How Low.

I’ve yet to find anything Ludacris has ever done boring and with How Low he lives up to the very definition of his name, turning everyone’s favorite game of limbo into a strip club anthem complete with a sample of Public Enemy’s Bring The Noise, a chorus of chanting chipmunks and Shawna on the down & dirty hooks. Krames takes Luda’s carnal carnival and adds more than enough airhorn and baile builds to offer DJs an alternative to Pon de Floor. I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to my first game of slutty dancefloor limbo.
