I guess one Radiohead remix contest just isn’t enough to appease the masses. Reckoner stems will be available for purchase on Tuesday, Sept. 23rd for everyone to purchase, remix, vote, and win…um…more myspace friends.

Earlier this year, Nude stems were released for purchase through iTunes, sending all of those bored magazine media journalists into a frenzy, asking each other that cliche, “What does this mean for the future of music?” and leaving the laid-off record execs in L.A. to drink even more.

But for those of us who purchased and participated in the Nude remix contest, we receive free instant access to the Reckoner stems via e-mail a full five days ahead of the rest of you, at least legally. I got mine an hour ago. Let the remix Olympics begin.

One of my favorite Nude remixes was made by Dreamtrak. I didn’t necessarily find his interpretation original or creative. What wins me over about his remix is how incredibly cheesy it is. Every time I hear his synth solos and bouncy bass all I can think about is outer space and Lisa Frank folders (yeah I had those).

My only complaint is, when are we gonna get to toy with Videotape?
