Viva La Hova For Pres - jams dean

Anyone that has known me personally knows that I’ve been consistently obsessed with Jay-Z ever since Hard Knock Life dropped in ‘98 (keep in mind, I was thirteen years old). This was when I would come home from school, drop my backpack and watch BET for about two hours, or until Digimon came on.

I still feel that Jay-Z would make a great president. Maybe not for America, maybe better for Colombia. But still, I want to see him in politics. Not that being a part-owner of the Nets isn’t a wet dream for any rap fan, but still, he could do better. He would make a better VP than Biden, that’s for sure. And seriously, who wouldn’t want to see an Obama / Carter ticket? (Other than my parents, of course).

It should also be said that I hate Coldplay more than any other band, ever. However, Mick Boogie & Terry Urban dropped an album full of Jay-Z / Coldplay mash-ups, and for the most part it is totally legit. The line-up is full of up and coming DJ / producers that were smart enough to keep Coldplay in the mix but leave Chris Martin’s red-headed step-child baby-sobbing in the background.
