Depeche Mode recently released their 437th album, Sounds of the Universe, and while I admit this is one of those bands that suffers from the law of diminishing returns, they occasionally produce moments of pure brilliance. I am loving their new video for the single Wrong. Directed by Patrick Daughters, who brought us Feist’s 1234 and YYY’s Maps, this one is decidedly more morose, tragic and just plain terrifying. Equal parts The Game and Gillian Wearing, it a little slice of horror. I wait on baited breath for a prequel video.
